Sderot
Up to CAD 50,000 and Bnei-Mitzva
- Youth Theatre Troupe 30,000
Allowing a youth group to be involved in the performing arts. This project has been exceptionally successful in tow aspects: therapeutically and artistically. The youth troupe was able to write and stage a comedy of situations in which they play their own life in Sderot. Addressing in a humanistic manner the way these kids experience fear in hope every day.
- Computer program 30,000
Allowing a group of teenagers to acquire advanced computer skills under a professional supervision. Some of the participants will move on to studying professional photography and related software programs. Last year computer group had an exhibition of their own work which gave depth to their experience as teenagers growing up in Sderot.
- Etgarim 50,000
This program is without a doubt the flagship of all youth activities in Sderot. Established by a native of Sderot this program allows you and children at risk and normative to engage in extreme sports. The program takes place in indoors and outdoors allowing kids and teenagers strategic approaches to dealing with problem solving and team work.
- Equipping of studio for Marshall Arts
Allow children youth and young adults to enjoy a fully equip Marshall arts room at the local community centre which has been fortified making it a safe place to be in when the city is bombed. TA Marshall arts room will enable all participants to redirect their frustration and anxiety due to the security situation.
- Equipping arts and crafts room in the community centre
Located at the local community centre this room allows children and youth to engage in ceramics and pottery. Many of Sderot's kids have a difficulty in expressing their on going anxiety due to the security situation. Allowing them to engage in a form of art that has therapeutic characteristics will have a meaningful impact of on many participants.

- Equipping centre for young adults
Every peripheral town in Israel has the same challenge which to keep their young adults from leaving their home town for college and then work. Such is the case with Sderot's next generation – these are young and bright young adults seeking a better future. The centre for young adults was established three years ago to assist Sderot's young adults in finding work and educational opportunities in Sderot and the region. Recently a new fortified wing has been added to the centre there is a need to provide equipping and furniture.
- Adopt a young community
Support a group of young Israelis who moved to a neighborhood with under privileged conditions. These social pioneers are joined by young vibrant residents of these neighborhoods who have the opportunity to leave but choose to stay. It has been proven beyond doubt that these Young Communities have the ability to bring about long-lasting change in Israel by reinforcing their efforts. They serve as a unique, internal change agent by living full lives and in addition volunteering, creating new educational programs and social services while bringing about long-lasting social change. They come from all parts of Israeli society, from socialist youth movements to religious Zionist ones; native-born Israelis to new immigrants from Ethiopia and FSU. Today over 90 Young Communities are making a difference across Israel today – every day. Each community averages about 40 families.
- Havens of Calm
program- this is a highly effective program which engages elementary and high school students in trauma relief impacting hundreds. All activities taken place in a special designated room in school names Haven of Calm during school hours in school. Counselors use various therapeutic methods including animal therapy, meditation, yoga and others.
- NATAL mobile clinic services
– this program's uniqueness is that it provides short term clinical intervention to those residents who prefer to do so at the comfort of their own home. A team of 6-8 therapists travels once a week to Sderot providing trauma relief from door to door. This method of service is unique, innovative and has been proven effective as it reaches clients that otherwise would have never sleeked help at a clinic.

Acco
Up to CAD 50,000 and Bnei-Mitzva
- Scholarships for students studying at the Acco Conservatory
Allowing teenagers in Acco who wish to learn music the oppoetunity to do so. Youth will be granted a scholarship based most of all on their persistence and commitment to their studies thus the more hours you practice the less money you pay. Acco's conservatory has been a leading force in fostering excellence and providing first class educational opportunities up to no less than 700 kids and teenagers from the city.
- Youth at risk- reaching out to Acco's youth at risk
Reaching out to Acco's toughest youth is where you would be investing. This program takes place late at night, on weekends and holidays where youth at risk wonder the streets. The counselors in this program reach-out to these youth and offer them to come and hang in a youth club where they can be guided, have a warm drink and snack. To date this program has impacted dozens of youth and has helped bring about a substantial drop in youth vandalism.
- Net@ computer lab
net@ projects provides high-tech training combined with a social awareness and volunteer curriculum. At the end of the process participants become licensed PC technicians. There is a need to upgrade the computer lab which services no less than 50 students throughout the week every couple of years.

This program provides holistic approach to the support given to children and youth at risk and thus becomes effective in its results. Participants in this program experience dissatisfying parental abilities for various reasons and a trustee is assigned to every 6-8 kids. The Trustee's job is crucial as he coordinates the kid's behavior progress at home, during school hours and in the afternoon.
- Innovative early childhood educational programs
we welcome you to be involved in providing meaning full and sometimes life-changing educational programs for children ages 6 months to 6 years. As part of UJA's IEC investments a bran new early childhood centre will be open in 2010.

- Scholarships for Ayalim Village for College Students
Ayalim is a non-profit organization with a mission to enhance Israel's periphery with young vibrant and educated Israelis who change the reality in the most unprivileged neighborhoods. In return to a full scholarship each student is required to volunteer no less 500 annual years for to benefit of the community. This program is unique as it acts as a change agent from within the community encouraging local residents to realize their own strengths and ability to change.

- Adult leadership group
- this exciting program allows adults in their early fifties to come together, meet on a regular basis. The program has been extremely successful as to date no less than 150 participants attend its weekly activities on a regular basis. Some of these activities include mutual learning, traveling, volunteering in the community and others.

- Yemin Orde – community for college students
This is an exciting interesting project as it encourages college students who are new Olim from Ethiopia and Russia to live, study and volunteer in the community in return to a full scholarship. Within two years there are 8 students.
- BeAtzmi
has been extremely successful in effective changing the lives of single women and others in relatively a short period of time. This unique program targets the participants' occupational dream and helps them realize it in practical ways. In the process many personal barriers are dealt with and are over come. Consequently over 70% of participants return to the work force!

- Centre for Leadership
Yemin Orde operates is future to operate a centre for young leadership for youth and young adults. The centre will serve as a home to many youth groups who will under go educational seminars in which their leadership capabilities will be developed. You will be contributing to the equipping of class rooms and multi-purpose room.
