Vandalism Exhibition in Sderot
The “Street Culture” photo exhibit which is on display this week at the Netivim Center is the third exhibition organized by members of the photography workshop, since its establishment two years ago. The workshop aims to use photography as a means of raising social awareness and encouraging empowerment. The current exhibition is the culmination of a process which seeks to develop social responsibility and a sense of belonging to the community.

Outstanding Activist Award for Medical Clown from Sderot
Chen Ochayon is the chairperson of the municipal youth council. Previously, she
explained to youth from the center of the country about life in Sderot and was a
member of the Association of Medical Clowns. Last week, in recognition of her
extensive voluntary service, she was presented with the Outstanding Activist
Award.

Young Leaders from the Negev Are Inspired in Canada
A delegation from the Young Leadership Group flew to Canada to take part in a conference on developing Jewish social activism. During their stay, the delegation also volunteered at a restaurant which provides free meals to the needy.
